BIRTHDAY CARD FOR A FRIEND

Two of my friends have birthdays this week so I made two identical cards for them as they don't know each other anyway.   So easy to make using the lovely Lili of the Valley Wild Flowers Art Pad and some of my lovely dies and spellbinders floral oval.

Thanks for dropping by!

ANOTHER FATHER'S DAY CARD

At last the sun is shining after a dreadful few days of rain, sleet and even a little bit of snow!  Who would believe it was the middle of May!!   Thank goodness I am heading to the sun for a couple weeks when the school breaks up.  We are having a special holiday this year as it may be the last year Callum wants to come with his old parents!  So we are off to Florida with friends who have a son the same age as Callum for a week at Universal and then a week at Clearwater.   Can't wait!!!

Here's another Father's day card I made using the fab Lili of the Valley Vintage Boys Art Pad and Country Gent Paper Pad.  My dad loves his garden so this one is for him.

Thanks for visiting today

FATHER'S DAY CARD USING LILI OF THE VALLEY ART PAD

Hi to all my blogging friends.   Sorry I haven't been around much but life as always is busy.   It's the holiday weekend here so it's nice to have an extra day off, in fact, two days for me as I'm off Tuesday too!!   Been getting the garden tidied and tomorrow hubby is going to power wash the patio.   We recently treated ourselves to a swing seat for the back garden so let's hope we get some decent weather to actually use it!  It's still flat packed in the garage at the mo!

This year has just flown by and that's Callum now left school apart from sitting his exams and his end of year prom.    I can't believe that 13 years of school runs are over - where did the time go!  He's now got a part-time evening job in Sainsbury's so that will keep him occupied for the next few months before hopefully starting university in September - he's hoping to study Web Systems Development at Caledonian University.

Not had much crafting time recently but have made a start on a few Father's Day cards and this is the first one using the fabulous Lili of the Valley art pads (Vintage Boys) and the Country Gent paper pad.

So glad you could visit today!

SIMPLE CARDS USING WILD BLOOMS MEMORY BOX DIE

Here are a couple of little cards I made using the lovely Wild Blooms Memory Box Die.   They are very simple and so quick to make.    The message on these cards is 'Thinking of You' and I would like to send this message and my prayers to all those involved in the terrible bombings which took place in Boston yesterday.

BIRTHDAY CARD USING HELZ CUPPLEDITCH RIVERBANK REVELS PAPER

Today I have a birthday card I made for my sister using the lovely paper from the Riverbanks Revels paper pack by Helz Cuppleditch.    I love this paper so much I really wanted it to be the main focus of the card - thus the simple design.   I used the lovely spellbinders floral ovals too and the sentiment is a freebie stamp from a magazine.    Her birthday is tomorrow but she opened it today so now I can share it!   She really like it too.

Back to work tomorrow after the school break :-( but it's only a few weeks now till the first holiday weekend in May, not that I'm counting!!!

LITTLE SPRING CHICK

I'm wondering whether this might just be the start of spring?!  It's much milder here today although it is a bit dull and rainy!  I'm sure the garden needs it though and hopefully things will at last start to grow!!

I recently bought the lovely 12" x 12" Riverbank Revels pack by Helz Cuppleditch and today I decided to make my first card using one of the images (cut down) and one of the lovely textured backing papers.  I have also used a few dies and punches to finish it off.

Thanks for popping by!!
